New Beginnings from a Heart-Felt Community-Driven Need
- Abused, neglected and delinquent
teenagers who had a need for safety
and support. - Judges from Whitley and Huntington

- 501©(3) non-profit status secured 1974.
- Volunteer Board of Directors recruited.
- Eli Lily donated $25,000 dollars.
- WHSCF purchased group home propert
in Larwill, Indiana and began housing
court-ordered teens, teen moms and babies.
In 1995, Whitington Homes & Services, Inc.
relocated to Fort Wayne, purchasing the Klein
Funeral Home facility at 2423 Fairfield Avenue.
